Living On Purpose

Your thoughts directly impact your destiny. You can't think greater than how you feel, your feelings impact your thought process through the emotions you've experienced in the past. For the most part, you're going to keep creating the same life.
Most people get out of bed on the same side, they get a cup of coffee, take a shower, get dressed, drive to work the same way, do the same things, see the same people, push the same emotional buttons, and it becomes a routine. This is how people lose their free will to a routine, and there's no unseen hand doing it to them...
So when it comes time to change, the redundancy of that cycle has become a subconscious program. A person can say within 5% of their conscious mind: "I want to be healthy, I want to be happy. I want to be free." But the body is operating off of muscle memory.
If that is the case, how do you begin to make those changes?
You have to get beyond the analytical mind; it's what separates the conscious mind from the subconscious mind. That's where meditation comes in, through teaching people to practice how to change their brainwaves and slow them down. When done properly, they enter the operating system where they can begin to make some significant changes.
Most people wait for crisis, trauma, disease or diagnosis. They wait for loss or tragedy to make up their mind to change. My message is, "why wait?". You can learn change in a state of pain and suffering or you can learn change in a state of joy and inspiration.

What meditation are you currently practicing?
